FORMULA-E (Elastic)

As a team in the Formula-e project, we acquired skills in strategy, product development, and design fabrication. Utilizing cutting-edge tools, we collaboratively engineered and designed a remote-controlled race car propelled by energy stored in 16 feet of rubber band to achieve speeds exceeding 25 mph. 

The culmination of our 14-week journey involved participating in various events like road courses and drag races, powering our uniquely designed vehicles with a rubber band. Showcasing our creations on smooth sidewalks, we aimed for awards in beauty and overall success. Our Formula-e vehicles, crafted through scratch-build fabrication and rapid prototyping, exemplified sophisticated design solutions as a testament to our collaborative efforts. We proudly received a Mattel "Hot Wheels Award" from the industry, highlighting our achievements.
