My Journey

From Yazd to Cisco

I came from Yazd, a city in the middle of Iran, surrounded by very beautiful desert and unique architecture. my childhood playground was right next to this clock tower which is located at the central point of Iran.

My parents had a strong passion for art, which is how I became involved in the world of design. As a child, I attended painting classes, and I started professional painting in high school. I received numerous national awards and recognitions in my country for my paintings and creativity.

After college, I wanted to get into something that combined art and math, something that possessed both functionality and beauty. That's when I discovered industrial design, a field I am truly passionate about. Designing objects and immersing myself in the 3D world are activities I thoroughly enjoy

To gain admission to a high-ranking university, one must participate in the national exam called Konkoor. I achieved the 5th rank, allowing me to attend the design school at the University of Tehran.

During my undergraduate program, while exploring various aspects of industrial design, I had a dream of attending the ArtCenter College of Design. I dedicated myself to creating a portfolio that would enable me to fulfill this dream.

Upon coming to the US and attending ArtCenter, I consistently aimed to excel in all my projects, gaining valuable experiences along the way. The Asus Sponsor Project, my OXO Blender project, and the Metal Finishing Association of Southern California project were just a few examples.
